Under an Eastern Star

Coyote Skull

A friend brought
this coyote skull
to bless my house.
He found it in the desert,
brought it home,
varnished it,
and gave it to me.
He said he believed
it would prevent demons.
I keep it on my mantel.
Demons play with it.
