Dragons in the Gum Tree Grove
First Narration
Two people meet and connect or not
as events and temperaments determine.
We met, connected, negotiated
what we'd share, and drew our limits.
"You will not know me until we've shared
the toothpaste, towels, and kitchenware"
"And when I know you, I still won't know
the core you keep inviolate."
"Nor should you know it. It's mine alone."
"Just as I reserve my self for me."
So we agreed to live together.
